The Ananda Institute's Medical Psychology program is unique in our area based on its collaborative approach of delivering psychological services. Our interventions are specifically designed to address the bio-psychosocial aspects of chronic health conditions.
Community Counseling Services
The Community Counseling Services (CCS) is designed to provide much needed services to the economically disadvantaged, under-served, and at-risk populations. The CCS provides the full range of psychological services to children, families, adults, couples and individuals.
The Ananda Institute's Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (CDRP) offers an approach to treatment based on a belief in each individual's ability to develop new skills and change attitudes and behaviors that will have a positive impact on the individual's recovery process.

The Family Trauma Research & Treatment efforts are directed towards the stabilization of the family and the individual. Prevention efforts are made through the treatment and training on child abuse, domestic violence and substance/alcohol abuse.

The Eating Disorder Treatment Program offers a powerful, integrative approach based in expressive arts, motivational enhancement therapy, and mind-body practices, as well as traditional cognitive therapy. This program is creative, compassionate, and highly personalized.

Board of Behavioral Science Provided (#PCE 1047) Professional Training/ Internships: Assessment/ clinical supervision and training of graduate students in counseling and psychology, with a multi-cultural interest in family therapy, group therapy, family violence, assessment, forensic psychology, disorders of childhood, PTSD, and sexual dysfunction. MFT and LCSW licensure hours are available.

Parenting Partnership Program
Ananda offers a 52 week program to parents referred by Criminal Court for child abuse and endangerment (per Penal Code section 273,) and to parents referred by Family Court and Child Protective Services.
Geriatric Mental Health Care
Ananda Institute has initiated a new program to address the mental health issues of the elder population in Sonoma County.
