Carolyn Shoshana Fershtman, Ph.D., J.D.
Dr. Carolyn Shoshana Fershtman received her doctoral degree from the Institute of Imaginal Studies, where she focused on healing of intergenerational trauma. Her background includes extensive training in depth psychology, somatic psychology, trauma recovery and mindfulness.
Ananda’s Family Trauma Research and Treatment Program is based on becoming aware of the sources of trauma and our learned responses to it. Healing comes through working with mindful awareness and learning new skills for creating healthy relationships with our self and others. Trauma survivors have a unique sensitivity that may blossom into a profoundly deep capacity for valuing and enjoying love and life.
