Managing Your Anxiety

Philosophy & Approach
Anxiety affects many people, particularly those who think deeply, feel intensely, and are highly sensitive. This acute awareness is a double-edged sword, resulting in a condition of profound sensitivity that is both an asset and a liability. While a certain amount of anxiety is needed for survival and performance, anxiety that is excessive becomes narrowing and restrictive, keeping individuals from living rich, healthy, and satisfying lives. The Managing Your Anxiety Program combines cognitive-behavioral therapy with other treatment modalities in order to creatively fit each person’s needs. This personalized treatment is designed to address the debilitating symptoms of anxiety while encouraging a fuller and richer participation in the world.
